Bobby Jump Marbella

Bobby Jump is a very large trampoline and play park just off the N-340 at the eastern edge of Marbella, near Elviria, with room for a lot of children at once. Almost all of it is indoors or shaded — the deliberate exception being the outdoor Aqua Jump zone — so it is a great choice for getting kids active on a hot afternoon. The space is organised into six main areas, and it is easy for a family to drift between them over a visit.

Straight in from the entrance is the arcade, which is better than the token machine corner many venues offer: a good selection of modern arcade games, racing simulators, a double VR suite and a row of arm-grab machines. A change machine takes notes and turns them into coins, which saves queueing at the desk.

The reception doubles as the cafe area, with plenty of tables for adults and kids. There is a full menu from a proper kitchen — fast food rather than junk food is the fair description — a wide choice of drinks, and fresh Spanish-style coffee. The cafe is reasonably priced too, which is not a given in venues like this.

For the smallest visitors there is a decent-sized soft-play area, well suited to children up to around four, and sensibly positioned right beside the parents' tables — you can sit with a coffee and keep an eye on the little ones without moving.

Birthdays are clearly a big part of what Bobby Jump does: two dedicated party zones look like they can host eight or nine parties at once, with long tables for big groups of kids and cheerful decoration. We have been to a party here before and the kids really enjoyed it, so it is a great option if you are planning one.

The gem of the place is the main jump area, out the back doors and up the slope: a huge covered space with masses of jumping room, slides, a zip line, jumping basketball hoops and much more. Children can easily spend an hour or two in here, and there are tables right outside where parents can sit and watch — though these are not shaded, with only some nearby trees for cover.

In the far corner of the outside space, alongside the main jump area, is Aqua Jump — a water-play zone of inflatables that only opens in summer during good weather. It is not huge, but kids seem to love it, and it is a good way to cool them down while they burn energy. Bring swimming costumes and towels if you want to use it; we had not prepared and had to give it a miss.

On value: we paid €24 for two children to jump for an hour midweek, socks included, with an extra hour at €7 per child if you want to stay longer — at weekends the same visit would have been €28. For the sheer amount on offer, that is fair, and with the cafe reasonably priced as well, Bobby Jump works out well priced overall for a big family outing.
